Blogging with Mr. Oldham

This is a forum that will allow me to ask questions and reflect on students, parents, community, and my own thoughts. The goal of this conversation is to hopefully improve instruction, assessment, and school climate through reflection.

Classroom Discussion

This page will be used to discuss topics fully between grade levels and classrooms. We will spend extra time in study halls thinking about a science question that has been posed by the teacher. You may read what your classmates have to say and respond to their answers. Remember that what you write will be viewed by the entire world.
Descriptive Writing
Write a paragraph to describe how confusing your life would be if some common items – such as clothes or food items in stores – were not classified.

    If the store was unorginized/or your adress was all the same.Every body would be going to everybodys house.

    If there weren’t any street names no one would know were everyon lived it would be terrible. Also the mailman wouldn’t no were to bring the mail or the school bus or stuff like that.

    If streets didn’t have names it would be confusing. If everyone called the street a different name it would be confusing. You wouldn’t be able to send any mail because they would have no idea.

    Without store names, it would be confusing because you wouldn’t know what store you are going in to.

    It would be hard to go in a store and everything was all over the place that would be so confusing. Or it would be confusing to go to school and there were no numbers on doors or on lockers.

    If things weren’t organized we couldn’t find anything at all. My clothes in my dresser are organized. That way I know where my school clothes are. If my clothes was not organized, I could not find any school clothes.

    If there was no classification to food cloths it would be very confusing to tell what was what. You probably not know what an animal is or a car
